A Rose

            1994, Ambon. There lived a little girl named Clara with his parents. At first, they lived in secure and peace. Perfect indeed, like a story in the fairy tales that tell how happy a family that lived in a palace, with great elegance and affection that she got. But several years later when Clara was three years old, her dad that he loved left Clara and her mom. Defeat in inter-tribal warfare that claimed the lives of her dad. Since that time, because her mother did not work and over time their property has been exhausted. They also fall into poverty. Moving from one place to another place and Clara’s mom worked as a maid.

            Until one day, in a small town there is a couple who are very generous. With their cold hands, Clara’s mom got an offer to work as a maid and Clara and her mom was allowed to stay in their homes. Hearing this, they are very happy and accepted their offer. And until their home, it’s luxurious, with a big garden and it’s building like euro models. Actually, that couple had a little boy. His age was not much different from Clara. Cliff named.

            Day after day, Cliff and Clara had passed. Playing, learning together. They were like brother and sister, protect each other. The years, they have been teenagers. They were at the same senior high school, demand that Cliff actually want to be with Clara.

            2012, Bandung. Eight teen years they have been stepped on. Cliff has been awarded a scholarship at a top university medical school at Adelai, while Clara. She decided not to continue her school, she had better work to help her mother who was not healthy as ever. Clif’s dad and mom and also Cliff decided to settle there in the time period is not known for sure. Two years, four years, or 5 years are uncertain when they will come back again.

            July 29, 2012. The day that cliff and his parents will leave London. Five hours before their departure, Cliff invites Clara to go for a while. Go to the park that not far from his home. In there, Clara can not control her emotion, she cried. Clara will be separated by Cliff’s family, Clara already consider them like family.

            "Clara, wait for me at this garden. Where we used to played together. Wait for me, I'll be back though, however I do not know when. "

            "I'll be faithful waiting for you, brother. Promise me, return to this garden as a doctor. "

            "Yes, I promise. I will come here as a doctor. "

            Standing among with a few people and waving her hand. Clara was really sad. They are really good and helped her mother, even up to their departure. Clara and her mother bought a house that simple enough to live.

            Day after day, Clara worked in a bakery shop that not far from where she lived. Her mom can not worked anymore. She only helped Clara to stay home.

            Adelai, July 30, 2021. A happy day between Cliff and Rere were exchanged rings. Three years for dating enough for them to get engaged. They seem to love each other. However, His deepest heart there is a sense for someone who had really loved it. A few weeks after their engagement, Cliff decided to go back to Bandung.

            London, August 20, 2021. On arrival he was in Lembang, the center focused on only one purpose, its find Clara. Cliff can not find Clara at home, Clara’s mom said that Clara had gone a few minutes ago and did not know where is she. Cliff was found Clara in her  workplace, the streets, but he can not find Clara. Cliff decided to go to a garden that have memories, where he was most of the day playing with Clara.

            6pm, at the Taman Bunga Cempaka. Cliff saw a woman who sitting under a lamp post and garden surrounded by red roses. A woman whose have wavy hair, with the blue shirt was busy playing with her red roses. Cliff was close to her.

            "Do you like rose too?

            "Heh. Yes. (With awkward) "

            "People who I loved, like this flower too, almost every week I always bring flowers for her"

            "Oh yes? Means she has good taste. "

            "Yeah, you're right. But .... "

            "But what?"

            "But, I'm afraid if I give these flowers to her, whether he was willing to accept my gift even though I had been engaged to another girl?

In a little city, there lived a grand father named Josh and his wife named Clara. In this morning, they want to go to Kuta Beach together. They were packing for their holiday. Clothes, foods, medicines were prepared and no one they forget.
After they have breakfast, his wife was cleaning the kitchen and Josh out the car from garage. In the garage, he went to the car and want to open the door of car but he could not. He was forgot if the car was locked, He was finding the key on the table as usual he put. But, there was not the key. He was searching and searching that key. His pocket, suitcase and he around his house too but he could not find that key. 
His wife asked to Josh “Hay Josh, what are you finding for? Hurry up, please!”
“Wait a minute. I am finding the key. I have to concentrate to find it.” Said Josh
Josh was still finding that key. He was tired and sitted on the sofa. He was thinking where the key was. He was trying to remember what happened before he went to the garage.  Maybe, he forgot something.
“Oh Josh, actually what are you finding for?” Asked Clara to Josh and came closer to him.
“Hem Clara, since 15 minutes ago I have found our car’s key but I did not found it.” Asked Josh
“The key? Hay, did you see it on your hand? It’s the key.”
“Oh God. I already hold it.  I’ m sorry Clara. You know me? I am too old and usually forget something. “

The Shift Door

In a little village at a small hut, there lived a poor family. There were Mr and Mrs Albert. Mr Albert was a gardener and his wife just a housewife.

One day their lived completely changed. It started from, when Mr Joni was died and he had no family. So, in his inheritance he gave all of his riches to Mr Albert and his wife.

Then, Mr and Mrs Albert were moved in a big city and they bought a new house. Arrived their new house, Mr. Albert would  opened the door’s house. But, the door couldn’t opened. He trying and trying to opened it.

When they were almost hopeless, their neighbor, Mrs. Rahmi saw and came closer to them. 

“Excuse me. Can I help you?” Asked Ms Rahmi

“Yes. We can’t open the door. By the way, how to open it?” Said Mr Albert

“Oh wait. This door is not push, but you must shift it.” 

“Oh like that. Thank you very much.” Said Mrs Albert

Then they laughed with it, Mr Albert just didn’t know how to opened the door.

A Silly Girl

Jane was a renowned and leading trendsetter in the capital city. Her fans also followed her fashion. One day, Jane’s best friend, Dave would celebrate his birthday at a hotel and invited his friends and also a few colleagues of the entrepreneur. Jane became one of the honor guests that will be invited. She was so busy to finding the dress for attended Dave’s birthday party.

Then, Jane went to a famous boutique subscription. At the boutique, she saw a beautiful dress. But, that dress was the target of others who came first to the boutique. They were jostling to get that dress. Then, as expected the dress fell into Jane’s hand.

Few days later, Jane had prepared everything carefully. She dressed up for 3 hours to make it all perfect. At 7 pm, Jane arrived at the hotel using limousine. She got off from the car and her bodyguard opened the door for her. She walked along the beautiful red carpet gracefully. Suddenly, Jane saw a man which was so handsome and charming. The man gave her a smile. Jane was so enchanted by him.

Then Braakkkkkkkk! Her face hit an invisible glass door in front of her. So, she fell down with a supine position on the floor and her dress was torn. The accident brought her to tears and she was very shamed. She just realized that the man didn’t smile to her but a girl right next to her.

The footstory about The Four Friends

“Teeet… teeet…“ The bell was rang. All of student entered the books to their bag. The teacher gave students information about summer holiday at school. 

Mam Nunung : Student, the time is over. Before we go home, I want to give you information about our school holiday. Next week is summer, right? Our school give two weeks for holiday. 

Students : Yeeeey

Novi : How long we have the holiday, mam ?

Mam Nunung : We have two weeks. Spend your holiday with advantageous activity.

Mam Nunung leave the class. There is small discussion between Tesa, Mira and Novi. 

Tesa : Where will you spend your holiday ?

Novi : I don’t know, I am still confuse.

Tesa : How about if we spend our holiday together ? 

Mira : I have an idea. How about we go to Kuta beach ?

Tesa : I don’t think so. It will be better if we go to ‘Pasir Putih’ beach.

Mira : Ehm. I ever heard that place. In Bangka Belitung, right? 

Novi : Yes, that place has beautiful scenery.

Mira : So ? Do you want to join with us ?

Novi : Ehm, okay. Let’s we go to Adel’s house and invite Adel to join with us.

Mira & Tesa : Okay. Let’s go..

When they arrived at Adel’s house.

Tesa : Assalamu’alaikum, anybody home ?

Adel : Wa’alaikumsalam, wait.

Mira : How’s the flu, Adel ?

Adel : Thank goodness, it’s getting better now.

Novi : I’m delighted to hear that. So we can spend our holiday together.

Tesa : We have a planning to go to the ‘Pasir Putih’ beach in Bangka. Do you want to join to us ?

Adel : Yes, of course.

Mira : How about we go to the beach a day after tomorrow?

Adel : Ok. I agree with Mira.

Tesa & Novi : Me, too.

On the specified days, they go to ‘Pasir Putih’ beach. After they arrived at that place they immediately changing their clothes and swimming. But suddenly..

Novi : Owhhhhh. Please help me. My foot get cramps.

Mira : Heey! Novi sink. Please help her. Anybody..

Finally, Mira, Adel, dan Tesa help her and save her to the side of beach.

Novi : Oh my chest is very ache. It’s very painful

Adel : Let’s we go to the villa

Novi : Thanks, adel.

After Adel, Tesa, and Mira waited for Novi take a rest.They went home.

Loyality of a Friend

            One day in a village with its natural riches, there lived two friends bull and deer. They have the same fate, that since childhood they had been left to die by both parents. Bull and deer lived together and were like brothers.

            One morning, all of people in the village were surprised to see the events they never experienced before. Dead plants, water sources dry up and crop failure due to drought occurred in just one night. The villagers can only hope this is not a prolonged drought. They passed three days without any food and water.

            The two friends, bull and deer were not kept his hunger. Until the words out from the mouth of a bull.

            “I can not stand it anymore, how if we go into the forest to find food and water?”

            “Are you crazy? It was dangerous!” said deer

            “Okay whatever, if you want to wait for your death. I’m going there to find food and water.” said bull

            “Wait wait, I’ll go with you but don’t say I did not warn you.” said deer

            Then, they had left the village and into the forbidden forest.

            Arriving there, they were stunned to see the situation. Plants grew everywhere and there was a vast lake extended.

            “I told you, don’t loss we come here, you see food everywhere.” said bull

            “You're right, it was incredible. I'm going to the lake to drink.” said deer with joy

            “Yes, be careful, I'll get something to eat first."

            They have separated, they don’t know the danger will come.

            On the other side, the crow returned to the palace to report what he had seen.

            “My lord, my lord. There is an intruder.” said crow exhaustion

            “What? How dare go into the kingdom?” said lion angrily

            “It’s true my lord, there’s a deer by the lake.”

            “Guards, quickly catch the deer and bring it to me!” said lion angrily

            When the deer were having a drink, he was surprised, a set of lion has surrounded him.

            “What is going on?” said the frightened deer

            “Enough, do not talk much, just come with us." said guard

            Deer beaten until unconscious and taken to the palace.

            “So this is the intruder, a fat deer? Lock him up! "said the king angrily.

            In the other side, the bull already felt full and look for deer to come home. Arrived at the lake.

            “Deer, where are you? Let's go home." shouts bull

            He was surprised to see the deer's friendship necklace lying on the ground and lots of lion footprints. He took the necklace and he said “Be patient friend, I’ll come and help you.”

            The bull returned to the village, he gathered all villagers and told what had happened. But, the villagers just scolded him for having entered the forbidden forest. The villagers disperse, the only remaining rhino, monkey and squirrel.

            “Thanks, there are still willing to help me and my friend.” said bull

            “Hm, sorry friend we can’t.”

            They left bull. The bull went home with a disappointed.

            In the evening bull was packing to go to save deer. He did not care about the dangers that will face. “Be patient friend, I’ll come to save you. You are arrested, because of me.” said bull. At night bull left the village. Arrived at the front gate of the village, he was surprised because of his three friends rhino, monkey and squirrel will help the deer too.

            “Hey you! I have long time for waiting.” said monkey

            “Thank you all” said bull

            They left the village and went to the Lion Kingdom to save the deer

            “What do you see?” said bull

            “There are too many guard anywhere” said squirrel

            ”There’s no chance we can get in to the palace” said rhino

             “But wait, there are no guard in the northeast” said squirrel

             “Ok, lets go to the northeast” said bull

             After they arrived in the northeast, they entered quietly.

            “There is no guard here” said monkey

             “Forget it let’s we find the king’s room there must exist a deer” said bull  

            After a long search they finally find the king’s room. They break to get in, but no one else in that room, there was just a large throne. The rhino realize what will happen.

            “This is a trap, lets get out of here” said the rhino. But they were late. The door behind them has been locked, and in front of them the lion general has been waiting and his army.

            “There was just a way to get out from here, when me and monkey keep them busy you pass that door and find the deer, do you get it?” said rhino

             “No I will here to fright with you’’ said bull

             “You’re stupid, are you forget for what we come to here? We will save the deer no matter what, don’t make him wait for any longer” said rhino

             “You must promise to me, you will come after us” said bull

            “I’ll” said the rhino.

            During the battle between rhino and lion general, the bull and squirrel pass the door and tried to found the room where the deer held. They finally found the room, but once again there was no one else.

            ”I’m suspicious this is a trap again, so you go to higher place, take this bow and shot when the lion come and I can stop his movement” said bull

            ‘‘Okay, but be carefull” said the squirrel. They separated.

             “Deer. Oh god thanks you are safe I’m so worried to you” said bull

             “I believe you will come to save me, friend” said deer

             “Of course we will, because this is my fault” said bull.

            Meanwhile rhino and monkey could beat the lion general and his army. They’re seriously injured.

            “I’m sorry bull, I can’t keep my promise to you, I don’t have more energy to move, I hope you can save the deer” said rhino.

            Rhino and monkey were faint. Bull has freed the deer. Suddenly.

            ”Well, well, well you are a brave bull and a stupid bull” said king

            “What do you mean?” said bull

             “With you come to here you just give your life to me, bull is a food for lion and never change” said king

            “So I will change it” said bull

            The fight between the king and bull was started when they kept to fight the deer went to the save place, the squirrel tried to shoot the king. The fight was fierce, but in the end, the king won the fight and said

            “Haha, you’re stupid bull, you and your friend die in vain” said the king while leaving the bull.   

            “My friend has struggle for me, I will never let they’re struggle vain” said the bull while tried to stand up with injured anywhere. The king was shocked and afraid look the bull. The bull ran into him and tried to beat him, but the king took the sword near him and thrust to bull.

            Quite for a moment.

            Bull’s stomach has thrust by king’s sword.

            “You’re stupid.” said lion.

            “This is just my body as bait to stop you.”

            “What?” said lion was surprised

            Suddenly, the lion fell down with an arrow stuck in his head. The squirrel managed to carry out their duties. The bull fell down with injuries suffered. Deer and squirrel walked to him.

            “Stand with me bull, we’ll take you to the village.” said deer

            “No, I can’t stand it anymore, my life is no longer.” said bull

            “No! You must not say like that bull, you’ll still alive. “ said deer

            “I’m so sorry deer, because of me you're under arrest, sorry if I didn’t heard you before and thank you because you'd want to be my friend.” Said bull with panting

            Then the bull passed away.

            “You’ll always be my friend bull, rest in peace friend.” said deer

            Soon the whole villagers came to the palace and rescue the five of them.

            When the day of bull’s funeral, everybody come to that funeral ceremony. After pray, they’re dismissed include the squirrel, rhino and monkey. There just leave deer and the chief village

            “He’s die as a friend and as a hero.” said the chief.

            “He’s not just a friend, he’s my pal.” said deer.

            After that the village fertile again and peacefully, and not to worried about the lion kingdom. Then everybody felt happy.
